My name is Kailyn, and I’m reaching out because my children and I are facing a really difficult time. After losing my job, I became homeless, and I’m currently pregnant and due very soon. My daughter just came back from Texas to stay with me, and I’m doing everything I can to keep us safe and together. I work DoorDash to make ends meet, and we’ve been staying in hotels whenever I can afford it, but it’s a daily struggle. Most of my tax refund has gone toward paying for rooms, and it’s hard to keep up with all the expenses.

On top of everything, my own mother called CPS, which has made things even more stressful. I want nothing more than to provide a stable, loving home for my kids, but right now, I need help to get us through this tough time. The funds from this GoFundMe will go toward hotel stays, baby essentials, helping my daughter with homeschooling, and basic things like soap and shampoo—just the little things that make life feel normal while I work toward finding permanent housing.
