We opened this community space during the height of the Covid 19 pandemic, with the objective of creating a healing space for people in the diaspora. Brave as we were during that time, we are now feeling the long lasting effects of this receding economy. Although we have been able to keep our heads above water for the most part the trickle down effect of inflation, unemployment and fear has began to stifle our ability to grow. It is of utmost importance and urgency that we keep this space healthy and open, so we can continue providing deeply rooted indigenous wisdom to our present and future generations. For the last year we have been a space where people have come to be more touch with their identity, to decolonize their spiritual and healing practices and become rooted in the depth and beauty of the Filipino culture. Help us keep going.
