Hi, my name is Tiara and I am fundraising for my younger, 8 year old cousin, Kaiden and his family. On what seemed to be a pretty basic visit to the emergency room for some lingering stomach pain, the family was delivered some tough news. After running just about every test within a few hours, the doctors came back with a diagnosis of leukemia. Kaiden and his family stayed in the hospital 10 days after that to settle on the exact diagnosis, mixed phenotype acute leukemia (MPAL), and a treatment plan. He received his first chemotherapy treatment which included a painful lumbar puncture in order to administer the medicines. This is quite a journey that the family has already been on, and with the total treatment plan predicted to take up to two years, they have a long road to go.

Kaiden has a newborn sister, born on September 9, 2021, his mother, Jannise had many complications and she was out work for the majority of her pregnancy. She had her return to work and daycare plan all set the day she took Kaiden to the emergency room.

Kaiden is a fun 8 year old who had started his first season on the football field, enjoys playing fortnight, amusement parks, riding bikes and spending time with his family (mom, dad and siblings). He even started his own business selling cold beverages outside of his house during the hot summer months, starting a little savings account with some of the money. Kaiden is a joy to be around, loves to tell jokes and is FULL of life.

I am setting up this fund with the hopes that we can assist Kaiden's family with household and healthcare bills until his parents can come up with a care plan and return to work. Although life will not be

"normal" for the foreseeable future, they hope to get into a routine where Kaiden can enjoy being a kid again and be around for a long time for his family and friends to love on him!
