Hello, my name is Kaden Gammelgaard. I'm a recent high school graduate and powerlifter from Lake Zurich, Illinois. In the fall I will attend Illinois Wesylan where I will continue training for powerlifting and play lacrosse.

I have been blessed to be invited to the IPF world championship meet in Istanbul, Turkey, this August. I started lifting as a hobby a few years ago and it has taken off from there. Most recently, I won the National Championship in Orlando, Florida. This win secured me a bid on the USA team.

The airplane tickets, hotel, food, transportation, and fee for registration are all at the cost of the lifter. Since I would not be the lifter I am today without the help of my Coach Alonso Rodriguez (he graciously donates his time to coach me), I am looking to raise funds to help offset the cost of the powerlifting trip for myself and my coach. I want to make sure I can represent the United States of America in Turkey. I appreciate all the love and support from everyone
