K recently aged out of foster care and is facing the world with very little support. After leaving the system, she’s encountered setback after setback, including a difficult stay at a shelter where she was bitten by bed bugs. With no family to turn to and limited resources, K is struggling to find stability and a sense of belonging as she starts this new chapter of her life.

Right now, K’s most urgent needs are finding a safe place to live and securing reliable transportation. Without a car, it’s nearly impossible for her to get to job interviews or maintain steady employment. She’s determined to build a better future, but the barriers she faces are overwhelming without a helping hand.

Myself and one other person are doing everything we can to support K, but we can’t do it alone.
