Help Justin live at a Special Needs Home
Donation protected
My brother is currently 43 and about to turn 44. He is mentally challenged but very high functioning and loves going to Brightstone during the day. It's the biggest positive in his life right now since both my father and mother have passed away. My mother, Ann El-Urfali, recently passed away on April 21st, and he has never lived without her. He is also facing a move into a new house and saying goodbye to the only home he has known for the past 37 years. I made my mom a promise on her deathbed that I would do whatever I could to help him keep going to Brightstone. Brightstone is a safe and loving environment where he has a sense of purpose and worth. He loves it so much he wishes to be buried there and considers Brightstone "his people". He has so many friends there in the day program and Brightstone adores him. He helps paint and make ceramics, soup mixes, and specialty dips that help fund their programming. He takes great pride in doing this work and takes it very seriously.
Justin has not been approved for a special needs home yet, but I am working on finding one that will take care of him the way he deserves. To have Justin live in a special needs home it's roughly $4000 a month. I don't know how much money my mother's estate will bring with all the medical bills and back taxes she owes, so I'm asking for your help. I won't be able to find him a home without your help. Please help me fulfill my promise to my mom so my brother can continue having a life that is worth living. This amount would help him live at a special needs home for the next 5 years, and if he were to die before this I will have this trust turned into a scholarship in his name that would help other orphans like himself find a special needs home.
