We wanted to share some good news — Justin and Alli have officially moved into a new apartment and are slowly getting settled. After losing everything in the fire, having a place to call home again has brought them so much comfort and hope.

They’re taking it one step at a time, rebuilding their household from scratch. While they’re incredibly grateful for the support they’ve already received, they still have ongoing expenses as they replace furniture, clothing, kitchen items, and other essentials that most of us take for granted.

Hello, my name is Jean Riverside, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my son Justin Foster and his wife Alli, who are facing an unimaginable loss.

On December 5th, 2025, a fire tore through their apartment and destroyed everything they owned. They made it out safely — and for that, we are truly grateful — but they were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Their home, furniture, clothing, essentials, and irreplaceable personal items are all gone.

Justin and Alli are now trying to figure out how to rebuild their lives from scratch. As a mother, watching them go through this heartbreak is something I never imagined. They’ve worked so hard to build a stable home together, and in just minutes, it all disappeared.

Why We’re Asking for Help

The funds from this GoFundMe will go directly toward helping them:

• Secure a new place to live (first month’s rent, security deposit, and application fees)

• Replace basic necessities such as clothes, toiletries, and everyday items

• Purchase furniture and bedding so they have a safe and comfortable place to sleep

• Rebuild their household essentials — the small things you don’t even think about until they’re gone
