Help Junny and His Family Rebuild After the Devastating Impact of Typhoon Tino

Our LYFE Marketing family is coming together to support someone who has given so much to us over the years — our former employee and dear friend, Junny Mahilum.

On November 24th, after 3 weeks of attempting to pull his life back together, Junny reached out with a message no one ever wants to send. He and his family were hit by the catastrophic force of Super Typhoon Tino, a storm so powerful it swept away everything they had worked for.

Here is what Junny shared with us:

“We were hit by a strong typhoon, Tino. Me and my family barely escaped death. That was the darkest day of my life. I’ve lost everything — my house, my car, and the future of my kids. There are no words to explain what we experienced.

The flood came so fast. We had only 10 minutes to climb onto the roof as the water inside our home rose to chest level. We climbed up, hungry, terrified, and praying we would survive. I wasn’t worried for myself… I was worried for my kids and my wife.

I have some minor injuries, but I’m thankful we’re alive. Still, I don’t know how to start again.”

Junny and his family have lost their home, their belongings, their sense of safety, and every physical part of the life they worked hard to build. What remains is trauma, uncertainty, and the overwhelming task of starting over from nothing.
