My name is Matt, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my little sister and her beautiful baby girl, Junie. Born in July, six weeks premature, Junie has faced some challenges with every baby formula except one that costs $60 a tin—lasting just over three days. That adds up to $600 a month. The formula is called PurAmino.

Unfortunately, her insurance has denied the formula as medically necessary, even though it’s the only formula she can hold down. It is literally her food for the foreseeable future. My sister and her husband are doing everything they can, but the costs are overwhelming.

Thanks to this formula, Junebug has grown from 4.5 pounds at birth to just under 10 pounds in five months—a testament to how essential this formula is for her health and development. She’ll need to stay on it for about five more months, which amounts to $3,000.
