Hi, I'm Rachel and I'm fundraising for my friends at JUMMARts!

Music is vibration, it's an ancient healing art practice that we are all touched by. It is the fabric of humanity. The healing power of theater, music, and song is far-reaching and no matter what part of the world you live in, we all love music!

Every year on my birthday I choose a charity to support. This year I’m choosing JUMMARts for Culture and Arts music and theater program led by my good friend, founder, and musician Alaa Sandouk and his partner Ali Elmadanie.

When the group began the biggest challenge of theater productions was the absence of women in the arts. It expanded with the help of Sandouk’s fiancé Elaf who became the first female singer and actress in JUMMARts. After Elaf joined the group other brave women came forward with touching stories of hardship, how finding their voice and being a part of JUMMARts has been a lifesaver.

A short documentary was filmed telling these brave women's stories which looking to be premiered at a film festival so if you please get in touch if you have any connections or are interested in viewing it.

JUMMARts is inspiring young people around the world to connect with their voices for creative expression and to create social networks based on kindness and service in creating a peaceful, sustainable community.

I had the pleasure of singing and performing with the members of Jummarts at a festival where they received recognition on International Women’s Day for the work they are doing in the community.

Your donation will help build a much-needed sound booth for these dedicated young musicians. They are active in sharing resources such as workshops, music performances music festivals, theater productions, and environmental clean-ups.
