My name is Bonnie. My sister Julie, Zak (brother in law), and niece (Jackie) suffered a house fire on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. They awoke to the smell of smoke and their ceiling caving in. Their smoke alarm did not alarm, because the electric had been melted by the fire. The fire department came out and extinguished the fire, but not before severe damage had occurred. I am asking for financial help for them. They are both federal workers and have been furloughed without pay for 3 weeks, and now this . They have lost so much, and what they have left is smoke-damaged, and all this right before the holidays. They’re the most giving people, and this just breaks my heart.
