Help Julie and Her Boys Get Back on Their Feet

Our friend Julie needs our help. She has a chance to get herself and her boys back on their feet and we’d love you to join us in helping her.
Julie is a devoted single mother of two kind, smart, and athletic boys ages 10 and 7.
Almost two years ago, the boys’ father left the family and withdrew all parental and financial support they used to have. During this time, Julie has held down a part time job at an elementary school, but since she is her children’s only caregiver, she is unable to work enough to provide for her family. She is also in a town hundreds of miles away from her closest family and friends.
Through all of this, her top priority has been keeping life as normal as possible for her boys.
On top of all this, last year Julie started having health issues. She only confided in a few friends about what she was going through.
By herself, between working, caring for her boys, and even coaching her youngest son’s soccer team, she went to medical appointments, undergoing testing and therapies, medications that made her ill, and even coping with a physical shoulder injury, still keeping things as normal as possible for her boys and continuing to be a full-time mom.
Thanks to her grit and determination, Julie is healthy now, but the next phase begins.
Julie’s first love is working with children and she has a great opportunity as a preschool teacher waiting for her in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she is originally from. Your support can help her get there, but she has great obstacles for her and her boys to overcome before that dream can become a reality.
