As you all know January 19, 2025 Julian’s Journey ended. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home with mommy and daddy by his side. . We are all heartbroken and devastated by his loss. Yes, we all were aware this day would eventually come but we are never, ever prepared for it actually arriving.

Amanda and Justin have dedicated the last 14 years of their lives caring for Juls with dedication and unconditional love. They have not only lost their first born and only son they have also lost a huge part of their income as since moving to Colorado Amanda has been Julians full time CNA. The future is uncertain but the immediate needs are clear. They need time to grieve. Amanda needs to find a new normal. In the meantime they still have all the obvious bills that don’t stop due to the loss of a child. We are humbled by all the loving and kind words and support. John and I will do everything we possibly can to help but we are not beneath asking for the help of our friends and family. I generally do not like these fund raisers but now can see why so many reach out to help friends and loved ones. Sometimes it truly does take a village.

All of you have been a part of Julian’s Journey and he has left a footprint on the hearts of sooo many. He will be able to rest in peace more easily knowing there was not an additional burden placed on his mom, dad and Jade in his passing.
