I am raising funds for Juliana and her family, my students from Brazil. As their English and ESL teacher, I have come to know this family closely over the years, and I have taught all four children. I have seen firsthand how deeply they value education, hard work, and community. Juliana has shown remarkable perseverance and has received a full scholarship to college. The entire family has built their lives around the hope of safety, opportunity, and a better future for their children. Now, that future is at risk. The family is facing the heartbreaking possibility of deportation, and their lawyer believes their chances of being granted asylum are slim. They need to be prepared to file an appeal immediately after their upcoming court hearing.

If they are forced to leave, the consequences will be devastating. Their children could lose access to the education, stability, and support they have worked so hard to build here. Funds raised will help cover urgent legal costs for the appeal and, if necessary, relocation expenses to keep the family together and give the children the chance to continue their education and receive the support they need.
