Help Julian Restore Travel Town’s Railroad

My name is Julian Tiangco and I am a Life Scout in Troop 210 in Burbank, California. I am currently working towards my Eagle Scout rank, and to end my scouting journey, I want to give back to my community in a meaningful way. My Eagle Project is to fix and replace damaged ties on a train track at Travel Town in Los Angeles, California. Travel Town is an open-air museum dedicated to Southern California’s railroad history, where visitors can walk through and explore dozens of locomotives, freight cars, and trolleys. By replacing rotten and damaged railroad ties, we will help ensure the track remains functional for future use and preserve an important piece of local history.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward purchasing materials and food for volunteers who will help complete the project. Your support will make it possible for us to restore the track safely and successfully, and any extra funds will be donated to the Travel Town Organization. I am excited to lead my fellow Scouts in this effort and hope to start the project on March 27, with completion planned for March 29.

I am reaching out to the community for help in fundraising the materials and supplies needed for my Eagle Scout Project. If you cannot donate, it would mean a lot if you could share my fundraiser with family and friends. I am truly grateful for all donations, likes, and shares—every little bit helps! Thank you for your time and support.
