Julia and her 12-year-old son Isaac are facing an urgent housing crisis in Kingsport, TN. After struggling to keep up with rising rent, Julia and Isaac are now at risk of homelessness on November 4, 2025. Despite Julia’s determination and resilience, every local shelter is full, and there are no immediate options for safe housing. She is also on the waiting list for affordable housing, but time is running out before they lose their current place. She is also looking for a job as well.

Isaac is a bright, energetic kid who loves basketball, Flamin' Hot Cheetos, and spending weekends with his friends. The uncertainty of their situation has been especially hard on him, and he’s struggling to cope with the stress and fear of not having a place to call home. Julia is doing everything she can to protect and support her son, but she needs help to bridge the gap until her first paychecks arrive.

This fundraiser will help Julia and Isaac secure a hotel room for a few weeks, giving them a safe place to stay while Julia gets back on her feet.
