I'm Chris Stevenson. Many of you know my mother, Juanita Stevenson, from her public roles as the former President of the Lathrop Homes Local Advisory Council, and member of the Central Advisory Council. She has been a tireless, outspoken advocate for the Lathrop community and the "mama bear" for Lathrop residents.

Over the last few months, my mom suffered three major strokes. Then, on November 8th, her son LaShawn Stevenson passed after a long battle with sickle cell anemia and kidney failure.

On January 5th, we got the devastating news that my mom has Stage 4 cancer. On January 6th, she was moved to hospice care., on January 12th at 1:30 pm our mother passed away with her family by her side. Our family asks for your prayers. We also need your financial support with end-of-life expenses.
