Help Juan & Emily Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Trinity, and I’m the sister of Juan and Emily. I’m reaching out on behalf of their family after a life-changing event.
In the early hours of April 18, 2025, around 1:45 AM, my brother, his wife, their 2-year-old daughter Charlotte, and their two dogs were suddenly awakened by an electrical fire that quickly engulfed their home. Between the flames and the efforts to put the fire out, nothing was salvageable.
Everyone made it out safely, including their pups. Charlotte had been sleeping with her mom that night, but it’s what likely ultimately saved her life.
Juan, who proudly serves in the United States Air Force, had just PCS’d to Texas two months ago. He and Emily had only just begun furnishing their new home and making it their own. While they did have renter's insurance, the coverage was limited and isn’t nearly enough to replace all that was lost: basic necessities, toiletries, clothing, furniture, nursery items, and everyday essentials.
Thanks to his leadership, they’ve already been relocated to a new house, but they are starting over from scratch. This has been a traumatic and heartbreaking experience, and while they are grateful to be alive and safe, the road ahead won’t be easy.
I’m asking our community, friends, family, and anyone willing to help to come together and support them as they rebuild their lives. Any donation, big or small, will help them get back on their feet. And if you can’t give right now, please consider sharing this page and keeping them in your thoughts.
Thank you so much for your love, generosity, and support.
