For over 30 years, the pet industry was not just our livelihood—it was our heart and soul. We poured everything we had into building and nurturing several beloved small businesses in Gainesville, from Earth Pets to The Downtown Tabby, GoodNature Pet Store and we can’t forget the kitten nursery! We’ve devoted our lives to caring for animals and supporting our community. But earlier this year, something we could never have imagined happened, and for reasons we can’t discuss right now, the pet industry failed us terribly.

Losing our business was like losing a part of ourselves. It was more than a job—it was our passion, our identity, and our connection to the people and pets of this community we love. The sudden closure has left us devastated emotionally and financially. Now, we are working hard to rebuild by starting a new venture in the estate sale business, but the road ahead is long, and we’re struggling to regain stability.

With no savings left and facing bankruptcy, we need your help to recover from this incredible loss. Any contribution will help us cover immediate living expenses, replace our ONLY vehicle (which was recently totaled in a lightning strike), and get our new business off the ground.
