Help Josiah and His Family Through a Medical Crisis
Hi, my name is Krystal, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends—Danielle, Rob, Josiah, and Gelsey.
Josiah is a brave young teen who recently underwent major surgery to remove his colon due to a rare genetic condition called Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP). This condition causes hundreds to thousands of precancerous polyps in the digestive tract, and the only option to save Josiah’s life was a complete colectomy.
We had hoped this would be a one-time surgery, but Josiah has been battling severe complications ever since. He’s struggling with intense pain, nausea, and frequent bathroom distress. He now has an NG tube for drainage and a PICC line for IV nutrition. The medical team is considering a second surgery to place a temporary ileostomy, and recovery has been much longer and harder than anyone anticipated.
Danielle and Rob have been by his side in New York for several weeks—far longer than they planned—leaving behind work, home, and routine life to care for their son.
The financial burden is growing every day.
They’ve already paid so much for flight tickets. On top of that, they’ve been covering:
• Lodging near the hospital
• Meals every day away from home
• Parking and hospital-related fees
• Rental car and fuel
• And most of all—weeks of lost income
They are trusting God through every high and low—but they’re exhausted, and they need help. If you feel led, please give whatever you can. Every dollar is a blessing and lifts a little of the weight from their shoulders.
If you’re unable to give financially, please share this campaign, and cover them in prayer for strength, healing, and peace.
Thank you for standing with them in this storm.
We believe Josiah will come out of this strong—and with a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
With love and gratitude,
Krystal
