Help Josh Overcome His New Challenge

Donation protected

Kansas City Harley Good Samaritan, Hit and Run.
I’d like to tell you a story, Josh is a die-hard Harley riding, fun loving, giving hearted, passionate young man.
Saturday evening, June 15th, 2024, Josh was out enjoying an evening riding his Fatbob. A young homeless kid approached him to sell some clothes for money. Josh didn’t have any cash, but he had a scratch off lottery ticket he could go cash. So he told the young man, let me go back to the Kansas side, cash the ticket and I’ll bring you back the money. He headed to cash it and was struck by a car. The car fled the scene but Josh was left on the side of the road with his leg crushed and twisted up. He was able to call 911 and was rushed to the hospital. Even though he was crushed in an accident, all he was concerned about was that young kid who was waiting for Josh to come back.
Josh was immediately taken into surgery and they amputated his lower left leg.
The driver still has not been found.
This isn’t the 1st incident in Josh’s life. He was just starting to get back to a somewhat of a normal life after having a 200lb tree fall on his head 4 years ago at work. That traumatic event took him years to recover from which he still really wasn’t normal, he just had to find a new normal.
We’re asking to raise funds to help Josh and his Wife Robyn. There will be a lot of medical expenses that are not covered by insurance. And Robyn is going to have to have some construction on their home to accommodate Josh’s new life. I’m sure there’s a lot of unexpected expenses that we don’t know of.
Josh is just one of those people you fall in love with when you get to know him, it’s absolutely unexplainable how something like this can happen to this sweet guy, and his wife too. She’s by his side, helping him, tirelessly supporting him.
Josh is a fighter, he’s an inspiration to everyone. Please help us help him.
Thank You, Josh’s Family.
