Help Josh, Michelle Robinson & Kids Rebuild After NZ Flood

Hi, I’m Lena Robinson, and I’m fundraising for my brother Josh Robinson, his wife Michelle, and their beautiful children.

On Friday 27 June 2025, flash floods tore through the Motueka Valley in New Zealand. Josh and Michelle’s family home a property they’d moved into a couple of years ago, was meant to be their forever home for them all. Their peaceful sanctuary by the river has been completely devastated. When the call to evacuate came they had about 30 minutes to get out and had to evacuate with pretty much nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Pretty much everything they owned, personal items, furniture, tools, clothing, photographs, kids treasures were either washed away or destroyed. The two homes they had lovingly created for their family are no longer liveable.

They are safe, and we are all incredibly grateful for that. But they’ve lost not just the buildings, they’ve lost their home and their sense of security.

Josh is a hardworking, humble, salt-of-the-earth kind of man, I am proud to be his sister, He's a brilliant Dad who’s spent years providing for his wife and kids, maintaining their home and land, and showing up for his local community. He’s not the type to ever ask for help, he's usually offering it. So I’m doing it on their behalf.

The road ahead is long. We're not sure yet just how much funding they are going to need long term and so the final goal may change in the future. But with a little help from my amazing global community, I believe we can lift some of the weight off their shoulders right now.
