Josh and Blair, along with their three children, lost everything the night before Easter when a fire engulfed their home. Elizabeth, the mother, was preparing Easter baskets when their oldest daughter, Alexis, noticed smoke coming from the back of the house. The fire spread rapidly, and the family barely escaped with their dog, leaving behind all their belongings, including identification, money, clothes, food, and essentials.
Their home was a duplex, and in the chaos, Josh bravely rushed back inside to rescue an elderly neighbor, suffering burns on his arm and neck in the process. Thanks to his courage, everyone made it out alive, but the family was left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. With the help of friends and the Red Cross, they have a hotel room for a week, but after that, they have no means of support.
This fundraiser is to help Josh, Elizabeth Blair, and their 3 children with immediate needs like clothing, food, and temporary housing, as well as to support them in finding long-term housing so they can begin to rebuild their lives. Any donation, prayer, or share is deeply appreciated as they start their journey toward recovery.
