My good friends, Josh and Julie recently brought their first child home from the hospital. Due to certain complications their baby had to spend 15 days in the hospital before finally going home. The hospital stay and procedures are expensive and they are in need of our financial help! My wife and I decided to start a gofundme account on their behalf because this program is not available to people living in the Philippines. The funds will be transferred to our account and then we will transfer the money to their account using a program called Remitly. I can send a receipt to show that your contribution has been sent to Josh and Julie if you request it.
Josh and Julie are so overjoyed that their son is safe and home with them finally. Money is a need for them today and you can be a part of meeting that need.
I believe the best way to learn more about them is to read their own words:
"After a long battle of endurance and survival, Thank God Jace was able to get through his conditions(Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Small PDA and Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn due to premature birth).
Due to this, critical care was needed and he spent 15 days in NICU causing surge in hospital bills. We were able to go home last Friday via promissory note and made a partial payment of the bill.
Yet we are still 500,000 pesos on the tab as of this moment. While still waiting for all the assistance requested from the government which are uncertain of whom will be able to respond or provide assistance, we are humbly asking for your help to ease the balance at least bit by bit.
We truly appreciate the support in any way that you can give and may the Lord bless you as well.
For those who have supported us already, we may not be able to mention you by name, but WE TRULY APPRECIATE YOU ALL. It helped us a lot to get through our days in the hospital.
Thank you all and God bless."
