Help Joseph get a new piano

Hello everyone,

I hope this message finds you well.Today i would like to share a little bit about my amazing son, Joseph, and to ask for your support in helping him get a new electric piano.

Joseph is about to turn 9 and is a high-functioning autistic child who also has ADHD, ODD, severe asthma, and eczema. Despite these daily challenges, Joseph finds immense comfort in music, reading, and video games. Music, in particular, is his sanctuary. He often says that music helps him focus his mind when it starts to wander into irrational thoughts, calms him when he feels anxious, and gives him a sense of control when the world feels chaotic.

Unfortunately, Joseph’s electric keyboard was damaged beyond repair during our move this summer. Since then, he’s been struggling without it, especially now that he’s back in school. Music was his go-to source of comfort and stability, and its absence has been deeply felt.

When I suggested setting up a JustGiving page to raise funds for a new keyboard, Joseph was hesitant. He didn’t want people to give something for nothing. So, he came up with a wonderful idea: he would share a joke a day until we reach our target. Those of you who know Joseph know how incredibly witty and funny he is. What many of you might not know is that “comedian” is on his shortlist of future careers, alongside “rock scientist,” “author,” and “farmer.” And thus he is considering this a great opportunity to hone his skills and bring a smile to your faces every day.
