Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

My name is Joselin, and I’m writing on behalf of my aunt-in-law, Nery Lopez. I have known her since I was 13 years old, when I first met my now husband's family. After winning her fight with thyroid cancer, she is now facing a tough battle with Stage 4 liver cancer. Throughout her life, she’s shown nothing but strength, kindness, and generosity toward everyone she meets. You may know her from working in the Nutrition Services Department or through the After School Program's Cooking Club. She is the first to support any, and all ideas you have, no matter how big or small. Her spirit has touched so many of us in ways words can’t fully express.

Despite the challenges she faces, my aunt-in-law has one dream she has always hoped to fulfill: a trip to Europe. She’s dreamed of experiencing the beauty, history, and culture of this incredible place. Unfortunately, with her diagnosis, time has become even more precious. We want to make her dream a reality while she’s still able to experience it.

Why We’re Asking for Your Help:

Medical treatments have been draining emotionally, mentally, and financially, and while we are doing everything possible to help her fulfill her dream vacation, the cost of a European trip remains out of reach.

We are aiming to raise $10,000 to cover her travel expenses, accommodations, and any necessary medical support she may need while she’s abroad.
