Help Jose Salgado Fight Leukemia

Greetings, everyone. My name is Diana Salgado, and I find it challenging to share my current circumstances, but my family is in need, and I hope this serves as a starting point for support. As many of you know, I own a flower shop in the Paterson Center City Mall called "Floristería Diana." My brother, Jose, and I co-own the shop and are frequently seen together, as our bond is truly inseparable. We are rarely apart, especially when working in the shop. You may know him as the "bright light" he is, radiating kindness and warmth.

From a young age, it has always been my brother, my mother, and me, united by a shared dream of owning our own shop. As children, Jose and I often sold bouquets on the streets until our mother made that dream a reality. Since then, we have felt incredibly blessed. However, we have recently received some devastating news that has profoundly impacted our lives.

March 31st, 2025, marked one of the most devastating days of my life. My 22-year-old brother, Jose Salgado, was feeling unwell, exhibiting symptoms of severe illness and weakness. That same day, he was taken to the hospital, where he received a diagnosis of a rare form of leukemia known as Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).

Jose has been hospitalized for a month, and we remain hopeful that, with God's grace, he will soon return to us and resume his life. He began chemotherapy treatment on April 4th. We are reaching out for prayers and assistance with his medical bills, as the costs associated with chemotherapy and his extended hospital stay are substantial. The hospital has estimated his expenses to be around $20,000. Any help to alleviate this financial burden would be greatly appreciated.
