Help Jose Martinez Heal After Tragic Accident

Please, beautiful people, support my brother, Jose Martinez, after a really bad bus accident.

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

Our beloved Jose Martinez recently experienced a tragic accident when he was hit by a bus. This devastating incident has left him with serious injuries, requiring extensive medical treatment and a long road to recovery.

On June 9th, my brother was traveling to work on his E-bike and was struck by an MTA bus. He flew 20 feet away and was pronounced dead by EMS. He was successfully resuscitated in the ambulance. He was in really bad shape and was put through an emergency surgery for a laceration to his liver that was causing him to bleed internally. On top of that, he had bleeding in his brain with two huge gashes on top of his head, he had six broken ribs, the right side of his pelvis was broken in three places, and his leg was broken in four pieces, and last but not least, he had a broken thumb. He has been trying his best to recover in the hospital going on 2 months now and still has a long and hard recovery to come when discharged from the extensive hospital stay.

Jose has always been a bright light to everyone's life and the life of the party with his wittiness and joy. He has always been a hard worker and a motivated, determined person. He loves life and has always been a driven person, and now he needs our support more than ever to continue being that person we all know and love.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help cover Jose's medical expenses, also a wheelchair and walker to continue his rehabilitation, your generous donations will go directly towards rehabilitation expenses, hospital bills, physical therapy, lost wages and unforeseen expenses during this challenging time.
