Hello, my name is Marta Flores, and I am the wife of Jose Flores. On June 13, 2025, my husband was taken by ICE agents on his way to work in Moorpark. Ever since that day, he has been held in Adelanto Detention Center and is now at risk of being deported. My family was told by our lawyers he has less than 30 days unless we are able to pay his appeal and bail. We want him to stay in this country not only because his only family is left in America, but because he needs medical help as well.

In July, he was supposed to get surgery to help him be able to walk better. He has been unable to walk, and the surgery was going to help him, but when he got detained, they denied him the ability to get help. He has been on crutches ever since.

He has been missing out on milestones in someone's life. He missed the birth of his first grandchild from his oldest son and will be missing his youngest and only daughter's high school graduation.

It has been financially stressful for our family and we ask for any help. We don't have much time to keep him still but we hope we are able to keep him here. It has been a long year for us and hope you can find the kindness in your heart to help us.
