With Help I can Fix Grandma’s Home for Wheelchair Access

Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Jonathan Archer. I am working to fix and modify a home for my Grandma. She is now 76 years old.

The reason: Not too long ago, she had to have a second surgery on her heart. The surgery took longer than expected due to the issue being larger than expected. By all rights, she should have never made it to the table. However, she did, and after two weeks in a coma, she finally woke up, but she was paralyzed from the waist down. She has been in California going through the transition and strength training to rehabilitate and get used to wheelchair life.

My goal is to fix up and modify her house so it is wheelchair accessible and safe. Right now, it isn't up to code to sell or rent, as well as not set up for a wheelchair. Door frames are too small for some rooms, and there are no ramps to the front and back doors. Other issues from when it was being "watched over" by other family include:
Roof
Floors
Windows
Foundation
Busted water pipe ruined an entire room and subfloor, so:
Toilet and Piping
Heating and Cooling Units

I plan to do most of the work myself with my history in construction and as an electrician.

I cannot do the roofing and foundation, and they are the largest parts of the issue. Windows and floors can be bad, but I am able to do them to try not to spend as much.

Any and everything helps. If any more info is needed, please reach out.
