On 12/22, my parents, Jon & Nancy, and my brother Justin, lost their home to a sudden house fire.

Thankfully, they made it out safely. But the fire destroyed the house and everything inside: clothing, furniture, personal belongings, and the sense of normalcy they worked years to build. After an already difficult year with some health concerns, this event is just really the ultimate gut punch.

Right now, they’re focused on the basics: temporary housing, replacing essential items, and figuring out the long road ahead. Insurance helps, but it does not cover everything, and the immediate costs add up quickly.

We created this fundraiser to help relieve some of the financial pressure so they can focus on rebuilding their lives rather than worrying about day-to-day expenses.
