Help Jon & EPIC.LAN team get back on the road!

Hi, I'm sure many of you have seen the pretty damn rubbish news regarding the Epic Lan van being broken into and stripped for parts.

This has clearly hit their business very hard at an already tough time. In UK Esports Land we all know how hard Jon himself and his team work, how they have done so for years, and how important they are to the space. So this was particularly gutting to see.

Dom Sacco & I (Sam, ESI) discussed as both had the same idea (I know others have too) to try and do what we can from the community/industry here to help support and cover the costs. Dom's spoken to Jon who's a bit uncomfortable with it (in that he feels a bit uncomfortable encouraging it or such, but not against it, to be clear!), so we want to make it clear this fundraiser is not from Jon, but an external community initiative.

We like to think of it as a nice way for people that know (or just know of) the amazing work Jon and team do to help out if they're able, at a rather crappy time for them.

PS. We don't know exactly how much it'll set them back and likely more than £10k but thought that was a good benchmark to see if we can hit to start with.

Jon is set to take out a new lease for a new van with a huge deposit (around £8k deposit), plus he's lost his insurance no claims, the trolley on the back needed replacing (£300), not to mention the £150 fuel in the tank, short term hires to get them through the coming months. So we don't know exactly how much it'll set them back, it could be more than £10k but thought that this was a good benchmark to see if we can hit that first, and potentially raise it afterwards.
