My name is Angela Baudoin Morrison, and I am creating this fundraiser for my sister, Jolene, her husband, Warren, and their children.

In just a matter of moments, a devastating house fire changed their lives forever. The fire began in the garage and quickly spread through their home. The cause is still under investigation, but it occurred during an exceptionally hot and dry period in their area of Canada. While we are incredibly thankful that everyone made it out safely, they lost their home and so many of the things that made it a home. They now face the overwhelming task of starting over.

Their family is rebuilding not only for themselves but for Warren’s elderly, frail mother, who also lives with them. She, too, lost her home and the comfort and security she depended on. Together, they are now faced with rebuilding a home for three generations of their family.

If you’ve had the privilege of knowing Jolene and Warren, you know they are the kind of people who quietly pour into the lives of others. Through their church and in their everyday lives, they have always been willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, and serve those around them without expecting anything in return.

As a proud Cajun from Louisiana, I grew up believing that when one family is hurting, we all come together. We may not be the Cajun Navy in this moment, but that same Cajun spirit of compassion, generosity, and neighbors helping neighbors runs deep. Today, I’m asking our family, friends, community, and even kind strangers to help surround my sister’s family with that same love.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help them begin rebuilding their lives. Your generosity will help provide clothing, temporary housing, household essentials, furniture, and the countless everyday necessities that were lost in the fire as they work toward rebuilding their home and their future.

If you’re unable to donate, we completely understand. Your prayers, words of encouragement, and sharing this fundraiser with others are just as meaningful and deeply appreciated.

On behalf of our entire family, thank you for opening your hearts to Jolene, Warren, their children, and Warren’s mother. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers remind us that even after unimaginable loss, hope can still be found through the love of others.

From our family to yours, thank you for standing with us during this difficult time. May God richly bless you for every prayer, every share, and every act of generosity.
