I am creating this fundraiser for myself and my family. We are a household of one adult and five kids, and our lives changed in an instant when we were woken up in the middle of the night by our house being on fire. In that terrifying moment, all that mattered was getting out safely, but we lost everything. Since then, we have been trying to process the shock, comfort one another, and figure out how to start over after such a heartbreaking loss.

The support from this fundraiser will help us begin rebuilding our family’s life and replacing the things we need most. After losing our home and belongings, we are facing the overwhelming reality of starting from nothing. Your kindness will help us take the first steps forward and provide some stability for my kids during this incredibly difficult time.
