I am seeking help for my dad, John Silletto. He just lost his beloved wife (my stepmother) Michelle to pancreatic cancer. The whole family’s hearts are very heavy.

On top of the emotional loss, my dad is left with staggering medical bills and other accumulated debt from her months-long battle and hospital stays. As he also has only half the social security he was previously earning, he is now facing the possibility of losing his home amidst all the other turmoil.

This is the last thing I want for him when he is already dealing with such a difficult change. I am trying to help him navigate any assistance programs that may be available, and my husband and I have been and will continue contributing what we can financially, but I fear this will not be nearly enough.
