Help John & Shirley Rebuild After Devastating House Fire
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,
On Sunday, December 15, 2024, a devastating fire destroyed the home of my parents, John (88) and Shirley (78). Their house burned to the ground, taking with it everything they owned. Tragically, this disaster has left them homeless just days before Christmas.
John and Shirley are loving parents, grandparents, and friends who have always offered their care and kindness to others. Now, they face unimaginable hardship. As renters, their insurance will only cover a small portion of what they lost, and it provides no assistance toward securing a new home. They are living on Social Security with limited resources, making it nearly impossible for them to recover without support.
We are seeking to raise $25,000 to help John and Shirley rebuild their lives. The funds will go toward:
Securing a new home
Furniture, appliances, and household essentials
Clothing and personal items
Basic living necessities
This holiday season, we are reminded of the power of community and the strength of kindness. Your support can help give John and Shirley a new beginning and ease the overwhelming burden they are facing.
No contribution is too small—every dollar helps bring them closer to stability and hope. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your network would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your generosity and compassion during this difficult time. Together, we can give John and Shirley the gift of security, warmth, and comfort as they start to rebuild their lives.
With gratitude,
James Cossey
