Hi, my name is Madi!

My dog Prinnie and I met John over a year ago when he first moved to the nursing home near our house and Prinnie was just a baby. He and my dog instantly bonded, and we've been looking out for him ever since.

John, one of the most mobile residents in the home, uses a walker. Each day, he kindly goes around to the other residents, asking if he can run errands for them. He then walks around town, posting their mail, getting their groceries, and more.

Unfortunately, as time has passed, it has become more difficult for John to walk around town. There have been times when he has called me for help because he was feeling unwell, whether due to the heat or other reasons. With winter approaching, I am worried about him getting stuck out in the cold. I would like to raise money for him to get a mobility scooter so that he can continue his daily errands, as it gives him a sense of purpose.

I have set the goal at $8,000. Once John picks his scooter, any additional money will be set aside to help him with any other expenses.
