Help Us Create a Safe Home for Joey

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

We are reaching out to you during a challenging time in our lives, as we seek your support to repair our home for our son, Joey, who is an awesome 17-year-old with autism. Over the years, we have faced numerous hurdles as a family, particularly regarding Joey’s mental health. While he is doing much better behaviorally now, we have experienced some difficult moments that have unfortunately taken a toll on our home.

We are in urgent need of repairs to our house, specifically addressing numerous holes in the walls and the bathroom floors, as well as fixing the tub. These repairs are essential not only for the comfort and safety of our family but also to ensure we can continue to care for Joey at home as he transitions into adulthood. With Joey turning 18 next year, we need to have these improvements completed so we can qualify for the support necessary to care for him.

Joey has shown tremendous progress, and with your help, we can create a safe and nurturing environment that allows him to thrive. The repairs will make a significant difference in our daily lives and help us provide the stability Joey needs during this crucial time.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to cover the costs of materials and labor for these repairs. Photos below show some of the damage. Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring us closer to creating a safe haven for Joey.
