Hi, I'm Joe, a dedicated father of two young boys (ages 3 years and 8 months) and the sole provider for our family. We are in urgent need of your support to overcome a tough financial hurdle and maintain stability for our children. After a recent layoff, and as I work towards landing a new job, we need help to cover rent and essentials.
Due to job scarcity where we were living in Wyoming, I embarked on a career switch and obtained my Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in 2023. Since then, we've navigated temporary housing across three states while I worked in various trucking jobs, looking for a fresh start. Right after the birth of our youngest son, I had to be gone, over-the-road, five days a week.
Recently, I landed a local seasonal job, with the potential to be hired on long-term. It allowed us to rent a safe and comfortable house but, unfortunately, the position ended abruptly right before Christmas. Returning to over-the-road trucking, where I'm away for extended periods, is no longer an option.
I have a promising interview for a city job and continue my search for other work opportunities that will keep me close to my family and offer our sons the stable environment they deserve. Despite my efforts to make ends meet in the meantime, we are unable to cover rent and essentials. We need a helping hand to navigate this transition and protect the progress we've made.
