Hi, my name is Joy Galapin Domres. I'm starting a Go Fund Me page to help my brother Joelito Medina Galapin get new kidney's. In 2018, my brother was diagnosed with chronic hypertension and extremely high blood pressure that has attributed to Chronic kidney desease stage 5 kidney failure. He is currently undergoing kidney dialysis and only has 4 percent capacity in both kidney's. Joelito was prescribed medication to control his hypertension, but was unable to afford this medication on a continual basis. He also suffered further decline in health because he was not permitted to see a physician due to being locked down in his own home because of the Covid-19 pandemic, and fear of getting Covid from other patients. My brother is a hard working family man with a wife and a daughter to provide for. His wife, Lovely, had to quit her job in Canada to fly back to the Philippines to help take care of her ill husband. My brother has no resources in the Philippines and desperately needs prayer and financial support to help him get this transplant. Without this transplant, my brother will be looking at grim quality of life and an early death.The doctor has stated that Joelito, at the age of 47, is the youngest patient on kidney dialysis that she's ever treated. I will be opening an account through Idaho Central Credit Union that is specific to donations for my brother through this Go Fund Me account.
