I've been here before. But if you don't know me, my name is Joe England. That's a picture I drew of my family.

Times are tough for us. My father is being treated for advanced cancer. My mother is experiencing the late stages of Alzheimer's. And we're facing significant debt which is draining our resources every month.

My prior campaigns helped us get so much further than we otherwise might have. I'm still so thankful, and I ended those fundraisers with the hope that I wouldn't need to do this again.

But my father still has cancer. My mother still has dementia. We still have debt, and in some cases, it's getting worse. Several windfalls we were hoping to receive failed to materialize. The income I make as an artist has kept us afloat, but with my responsibilities as my mother's caretaker it's getting harder for me to work, not easier.

I have to admit that our need is long term, and hope that we'll finally turn a corner soon. It seems like every time I've thought that, the corner just leads to a larger curve, but we have to keep moving.

So I'm asking, again, for anything that you might be inclined to give. I can only offer my sincere gratitude once more for helping a family to weather a hard time of our lives. Thank you, even if all you can do is read this and share it. It's appreciated.
