Hi, my name is Jana and I am raising funds for my high school classmate and good friend, Jody who has had more than her fair share of rough times in the last few years. Jody lost her husband Jorge to colon cancer 5 years ago. Her son Travis was in a motorcycle accident and had to have part of his leg amputated. During that time Jody’s daughter Kenzie took her life. More recently, Jody has had some medical issues . She has had 2 surgeries on her abdomen, was in the University of Iowa Hospitals for 2 weeks. She was able to be home for a month before spiking a high fever, becoming septic and ending back in the hospital. Throughout all of this, Jody has remained strong, with a positive attitude and had continued to stay employed, but due to the number of days she was not able to work, she has also lost her job. Those of you who know Jody personally, know she would be the first person to lend a hand to someone in need. Please help me give her an assist with ongoing medical bills and other expenses. I would be forever grateful for any help you can give Jody.
