Jodi and Tim are a couple in my community who have been living by a creek in a homeless encampment, doing their best to get by in tents. Despite their difficult circumstances, they remain hopeful and determined to build a better life together. Recently, their situation became even more challenging when someone from their community stole their belongings and destroyed their tent, leaving them with almost nothing. Without any means of transportation, daily life is a struggle, but Tim’s resilience shines through—he managed to get a phone and, within just a week, landed two job interviews. Their faith keeps them strong, as they attend church and keep God at the center of their relationship, supporting each other through every hardship.

The funds raised will go directly to helping Jodi and Tim secure safe shelter, provide them with transportation like a bike, and cover daily essentials that most of us take for granted. Ultimately, the goal is to help them move out of the homeless community and into a safer, more stable environment where they can continue working toward a brighter future.
