My name is Jocelyn. Ive recently fled with my son from an extremely bad DV situation. I was strangled by the father of my son and he also shook my son in the midst of the altercation between him and I. I was living with him and his family recently for about 3 months, in a horrible condition. I was assaulted while pregnant in the building of my own apartment so I will not be returning to ensure the safety of my son. My son is currently in my custody and we are somewhere safe away from these problems and people. I did leave with my son and some of his main necessities, like clothes, diapers, his formula, but I do only have a limited supply. We are staying where we are at until we find somewhere else we are able to safely and comfortably go to. My son was hospitalized as well as I was myself. Thank God my son was medically cleared, as for me. I did suffer from a non fatal strangulation.

I am starting this gofundme because my son and I are starting rom scratch. I myself have been wearing the same clothes for the past 2 going on 3 weeks. My son has clothes but he still is only 3 months old and he will only be getting bigger, and it is starting to get cold here where we're staying. Anything helps, resources, advice, a dollar or two. I would love to say more, and I will be updating this as I go. I just want to be mindful what I say because the father of my son may be able to access this story.
