My therapist told me to try this, so here's hoping.
My name is JoAnna. I am a victim of domestic violence abuse from my stepfather. He was the person with a vehicle that I had access to because both of my parents had passed away. I was able to move away from his abuse. Since then, I have not been able to reliably get to places I need like doctor appointments because I moved to a small town that is not close to anything within walking distance. Medicabs are unreliable. Most of the time, they either don't show up or show up late and I've missed my appointments. I am currently on SSI due to some mental and physical limitations, like PTSD, anxiety, dextroscoliosis and degenerative disc disease. My goal to achieve my freedom is getting a vehicle of my own. Then, I'll be able to go back to work. and hopefully get off SSI. I've been trying to find a job where I wouldn't need transportation but that's proved to be impossible. Being that SSI pays so little, it has made it impossible for me to be able to afford a down payment for a vehicle. I'm desperate for help to gain my freedom and go back to work so I can live more comfortably with my dogs and my cats (that I took in when my mom passed away). I've tried asking for help for a cosigner from my aunts and brother but they've completely ignored me despite me being there for them when they needed it and I have no other family or friends to ask.
