Hi All. My Name is Anthony Bu and I am fundraising on behalf of my friend & colleague Peter R. Lantin’s wife Jing Jing Mei.

In July 2023 at age of 40, Jing Jing Mei was diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer of the Colon. Since that day, the Mei-Lantin family’s world has been forever changed. Jing Jing had to immediately stop working. After surgery (removal of mass and further testing) they were informed the cancer was progressed farther than expected. This news was devastating for their family, Jing Jing never wandered from her primary focus which are her kids and family. She continued focusing on Theodore and Nathaniel by preparing for the upcoming 2023 school year. She then had to prepare for chemotherapy sessions for the next few months at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. To make matters worse, her husband Peter was injured on the job (Motor Vehicle Accident) while as a passenger on the clearview expressway with his supervisor in September. Currently still rehabbing his injuries after numerous months of leave.

For those that know Jing Jing, and for those that don’t, She is a very respectable and caring person. She has volunteered at the a few running events as a medical personnel. Also volunteered at her neighborhood ambulance agency. Always thinking of others before herself. She refuses to give up. Peter is just as dedicated to the programs he’s been involved with throughout the years. From coaching youth sports teams, involvement with youth programs, volunteering at the local neighborhood ambulance & fire departments and also part of the NYPD Auxiliary Police program. These are just some of the accolades from those two.
