Anyone who knows Jimmy will tell you he has a heart of gold. He’s never asked for much in life — just the simple things. He’s happiest spending time with his loyal dog Filo, and working away in his yard fixing cars, lending a hand to neighbours, and quietly supporting his community in any way he can.

Last week, Jimmy’s world changed in an instant. An unexpected electrical fault caused a fire that swept through his yard — a place he had poured 20 years of his life into. In a matter of moments, everything he had built was gone.

By a miracle, Filo survived, but remains in the vets and Jimmy lost everything.

Family and friends have created this GoFundMe to help Jimmy get back on his feet and to show him just how much he means to everyone who has been lucky enough to know him. Jimmy has spent years helping so many people without ever asking for anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to return the favour.
