Hi, my name is Brent, and along with my good mate Kaylan, we are setting up this GoFundMe to support our close friend Jimmy.

On the 25th of January, Jimmy lost far more than just a car. Due to a faulty 12 volt battery system, his pride and joy was destroyed by fire while he was out camping with his mates, doing something he truly loved.

That car was Jimmy’s world. He poured years of hard work and savings into it, planning every upgrade and dreaming about where it would take him next. As a 2nd year motorcycle apprentice mechanic, it wasn’t just a way to get around, it carried all the tools he relies on every day to earn a living and build his future. In a matter of minutes, everything he had worked for was gone.

Inside the car was everything Jimmy owned. His camping gear, his swag, his clothes, the essentials he depended on day to day to live, work, and get by. Years of sacrifice and dedication were lost in an instant.

Jimmy is the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. He never asks for anything, and this loss has hit him harder than most of us can imagine. He didn’t just lose a car, he lost his independence, his livelihood, and a huge part of the future he was working so hard toward.
