On November 30, 2025, my sister Jill Hayden (Turtle) passed away unexpectedly.

Jill was a single mother to T-Jo, Juniper, and Jaspen and they were the absolute light of her life. She raised the happiest kids I’ve ever known, and it’s impossible to imagine how we move forward without her.

As my family navigates this tragedy, our focus is on providing my nieces and nephew with a stable and loving home. We will never compare to the mother Jill was, but my mother and I want to do everything possible to raise these three children in a way that would make her proud.

I would never ask so directly for help if this weren’t such a catastrophic life-changing loss for everyone involved. There is so much more I want to share about my beautiful sister, but I don’t have the words yet. Jill was the center of such a large community in New Orleans and lived a life full of art, music, and spreading kindness.
