Hi, my name is Jillayne McGuire.

I’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of myself, my boyfriend, our three children, and my mom. For the past six months, we’ve all been living together in a one-bedroom apartment. To say it’s been difficult would be an understatement. Without a vehicle, we’ve had to rely on Ubers, cabs, and the kindness of others to get around. My oldest has even struggled to get to kindergarten on time because of our transportation challenges.

More than anything, the hardest part has been not having the space my children deserve. At just 2, 4, and 5 years old, they need room to grow, play, and thrive — and I want to give them that.

The good news is that we’ve finally been approved for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home. This is our chance to start fresh, to finally give my kids their own rooms, a backyard to play in, and a stable place to call home. But to make it happen, we need help covering the deposit and moving costs.

I’ve always tried to handle my struggles quietly, believing they were mine alone to carry. But I’ve come to realize that it really does take a village — and right now, I need my village more than ever.

I am currently studying early childhood education and interning, but without a car, I haven’t been able to earn consistent income these past months. Even so, I am determined to keep working toward a better future for my family.

Right now, my only concern is giving my children the safe, stable home they deserve. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to that goal — and we are deeply grateful for your kindness and support.
